Among the many, Gold and Supreme Gold Medals we have been honoured to receive in local, regional, national and international competitions over the past 16 years, there are some which are most dear to our hearts. Those awards are related to EZERJÓ, and illustrate just how many facets the variety is able to show:

The certificate of the Hungarian Flagship Wine Order: ‘This certificate of the Hungarian Flagship Wine Order recognises the praiseworthy efforts of ISTVÁN BOZÓKY, vine grower and vintner (Remark: and through him, of his entire family) made in the interest of restoring the reputation of our Mór Ezerjó wine, for which this body awards him the cup for the Flagship Wine of the year 2000.'

This award was a turning point in the thinking of our sons and gave a position of value in their lives to the vine growing and winemaking which had been regarded as thankless labour.
